𝓛𝓸𝓸𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓫𝓪𝓬𝓴, 𝔀𝓮 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓶𝓮𝓭 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓽𝓾𝓭𝓮.

ℙ𝕖𝕥𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕛𝕠𝕘𝕘𝕚𝕖𝕤, 𝕁𝕠𝕜𝕖𝕣𝕤, 𝕂𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕗 ℙ𝕠𝕡

For the last three years, the Poorboys have brought nothing but excellence to the stage, winning Overall Campus Serenade for three consecutive years and even claiming victory at the National Atterbury Acapella Competition in 2024.

This past weekend we hosted the annual Patria Golf Day at Parys Golf Estate, and what a privilege it was. From old boys to current residents and their families, the Patrians showed their true colours once again.

Well done to our Golf Day HC member, Heinrich Potgieter, on organizing an amazing event.

‘n Massiewe dankie aan elkeen wat deelgeneem het, asook elke Patriaan agter die skerms wat gehelp het met die opslaan en seker gemaak het dat die dag perfek vloei.

Dit was ongelooflik om so ‘n besonderse groep mense bymekaar te hê – van ‘n groot groep Old Boys tot die manne in die koshuis self wat kom uitslaan het. Die broederskap loop sterk!

The final buzzer has sounded on the basketball season, and what an incredible journey it has been. Our boys fought hard, played with heart, and secured a solid 4th place finish!

More than just the scoreboard, this season was a true testament to the respect, dedication, and brotherhood that defines us.Well done to every player who put in the hours of practice and gave their all, and to every supporter who backed the team from the sidelines.

With this past weekend marking the 12th annual Patria July, we had the honour of having our Miss Patria July 2025 do her last walk.

Looking back at her year as Miss Patria July has made us realise how blessed we are.

𝘿𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 ‘𝙣 𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙤𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙠.
Haar laaste keer op die verhoog was verseker een wat ons nooit sal vergeet nie, en ons is hartseer om dié hoofstuk af te sluit, maar ons sien uit na die volgende een.

Starting on the grass of the residence, moving to Snowflake and now being the biggest student festival in South Africa,
we are borderline emotional seeing how Patria July has grown.
