Kimmy Chan (BBiomedSc) graduated with First-Class Honours in Biomedical Sciences. Originally from Macau, she moved to Hong Kong for her studies, driven by a deep conviction that research holds the power to unravel the mechanisms of complex diseases and engineer better treatments.

Kimmy credits her time at Lap-Chee College (LCC) as one of the defining chapters of her university life. It was within the LCC community that she met most of her lifelong friends and honed her essential soft skills. An adventurous spirit at heart, Kimmy thrives on learning new skills and has never been afraid to venture off the beaten path.

Following graduation, Kimmy is set to further her journey in academics and research, eager to deepen her impact and knowledge in the field.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 #𝗛𝗞𝗨𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗳𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 - 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹🎓👨🏻‍🎓💚

Daniel Wong (BA(UrbanStud)) graduated with First Class Honours in the Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the Faculty of Architecture. With the world rapidly urbanising, he developed a strong interest in understanding how cities are designed, planned, and shaped. Throughout his university journey, he gained valuable experience in both the private and public sectors, allowing him to develop a deeper understanding of the inner workings of the built environment.

One of his most memorable experiences was his time at Airport Authority Hong Kong, where he worked on the planning and development of SKYTOPIA. He also had the opportunity to go on exchange to the University of Leeds in the UK, where he made lifelong memories and friendships. Following his graduation, Daniel has chosen to pursue a Master’s degree in Town Planning at the University of Cambridge, where he will continue to deepen his expertise in urban planning and design.

"Living and studying in the UK for a full academic year was not just a chapter in my education—it was a transformative journey that has left a lasting impact on my outlook and aspirations," said Tammy✨

For Tammy, studying law in the UK offered a distinctive experience that textbooks alone could never replicate and her journey went far beyond the lecture theatre:

“Art has always been a big passion of mine. In high school, it was a choice between art and medicine. While I’m forever grateful that 18-year-old me chose to pursue medicine, a part of me has always wondered what studying art would have been like.

During a semester in New York City at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I met an incredible community of creative individuals who broadened my perspective and inspired me to experiment with sculpture, life drawing, filmmaking, and interactive art. It was then that I truly understood what people mean when they say that the social currency of New York is creativity.
I carried that spirit into the following semester at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I connected with people who live with a genuine appreciation for the world and an endless curiosity to explore it. Surrounded by this energy, I took up scuba diving, backpacking, surfing, and painting en plein air. Immersing myself in nature has become an essential way for me to recharge during my clinical years.

EY opened doors to new hobbies and skills that have become sources of joy and balance—things I know will sustain me when the demands of medicine feel overwhelming. It also allowed me to reconnect with my passions and reflect on how creativity influences the way I evaluate, consider, and approach challenges—skills I am certain will benefit my future practice.”
