This year, the Meso Meetings is excited and grateful to have the generous support of the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS). It's a collaboration across two colleges at UT, and a return to an old partnership. In 1978, LLILAS was the sponsor of the first Maya Hieroglyphic Workshop by Linda Schele, organized by Nancy Troike. Today, LLILAS provides an organizational umbrella for the diverse range Maya-related research being conducted at UT, through the Maya Studies Initiative.
