Have you made your plan to vote?
New York voters have three ways to vote in the 2026 general election:
Vote Early
Oct. 24-Nov. 1
Find times and locations at www.broomevotes.com/earlyvoting or through your county’s board of elections
Vote Absentee or by Mail
Complete and return your ballot as soon as possible after receiving it
Must be postmarked by Nov. 3. If mailing within a week of Nov. 3, bring your ballot in-person to a post office and request a manual postmark. The #5 and #47 BC Transit routes go directly from campus to nearby post offices
Out-of-county ballots CANNOT be dropped off at a Broome County polling place
Vote on Election Day
Tuesday, Nov. 3. Polls are open 6a.m.-9p.m.

Registered in New York, but forgot to update your address? You can still vote! Go to the polling place for your current local address and request an affidavit ballot. Complete the affidavit ballot carefully using your current local (Broome County) address.
