Amish are flocking to Missouri from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana, fueled by inexpensive farmland, fewer land-use regulations and room for expanding families.

MU Sociology Assistant Professor, Chris Conner took his research to the public last week when he served as a panelist for the event “Christian Nationalism. What is it? Where did it come from? And why should we care?” The event was held at Columbia Public Library and sposored by Peaceworks. Here’s a photo of the packed house!
