Wonder what we’ve been up to so far?

We are all about the upper extremities and upper body right now! Also meet our Kinesiology TA’s, Beth and Megan! They are helping teach the first years palpation, manual muscle tests, and range of motion. Our second years are currently learning special tests and mobilizations in MSK I and learning upper extremity exercises to use in the clinic!

Congratulations to Drs. Leah Lowe, Lynn Holloway, and Sandra Kemper! They received the IPE Excellence and Innovation Award for their work with Go Baby Go!

Go Baby Go is a program that allows students and faculty to work together with children with mobility needs. These different programs (OT, PT, speech) work together to create adaptive vehicles for these individuals for a fun day of racing! This program has been an outstanding example of how interprofessional teams and education should function! It allows students to take initiative and work with each other to achieve a collective goal of making a difference in the lives of those in our community.
