💪Oregon’s North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC) is where innovation meets agriculture! 🌾
Located on 160 acres in Aurora, OR, just 20 miles from Portland, NWREC is the only agricultural research center dedicated to serving the Willamette Valley—the heart of Oregon’s $6.7 billion farming industry.
From Christmas trees and nursery plants to berries, tree fruits, and specialty seed crops, our research and outreach efforts support the diverse agricultural industries that thrive here. Nearly 40% of Oregon’s farm production happens within 50 miles of NWREC!
