The Kimmel Belonging & Engagement Hub is the focal point of student involvement & campus life at SIUE

Students interested in getting involved may wish to participate in the Campus Activities Board, Greek Life, the Student Leadership Development Program, Student Government, Volunteerism, or more than 200 student organizations. Co-curricular experiences promote personal growth, develop your self-confidence and leadership abilities, and prepare you for life-long learning. The Kimmel Student Involvement Center staff assist students with planning and coordinating programs that promote the educational, cultural, and social enrichment of the University community. These events and programs include Welcome Week, Homecoming, Family Weekend, Black Heritage Month, International Night, Springfest, and Activities Fairs. Walk through history this November! To celebrate Native American and Indigenous Heritage Month, Dr. Julie Zimmermann, Professor and Chair of Anthropology at SIUE, will guide a walking tour of Cahokia Mounds on November 7 from 1 to 3 PM. Students who would like to join should meet in the Cahokia Mounds parking lot (Cahokia Mounds 30 Ramey Dr, Collinsville, IL 62234). We can’t wait to see you there!

Big races and local races both shape your future. Local elections matter too, so vote the full ballot. Your vote and your voice have power. Use them! 🐾❤️

Voting on campus? Early voting for Madison County is October 28 to 30 from 10 AM to 5 PM in the MUC Willow Room. Election Day voting is November 3 from 6 AM to 7 PM in the MUC Meridian Ballroom. Don’t forget to bring two forms of ID, one with your current name and address (swipe to see the full list).

Registered somewhere else? No problem. Find early polling stations in your home county or state, check the hours available at your polling location, or mail in your ballot. Just make a plan and make it happen!❤️🖤🤍

They paired up for conversations, then teamed up at the whiteboards to unpack what people say, think, and feel. They left with a better understanding of themselves, their impact on others, and how to build inclusive communities.❤️🐾
