Celebrating our May 2026 BSN Graduates!
Mia Klein has joined the INVOA New Grad RN Residency Program in Adult Acute Care. She writes, "I am so grateful to be leaving the JMU Nursing Program with so much. My time in this program has given me the chance to use my learned intellect and display my skills that come with being a great nurse. Although, I was faced with countless challenges and tests of my strength, I was able to make it through, and prove that I was where I meant to be. I am forever grateful for the memories this program gave me, good and bad, and I will use them to fuel my passion even further as I continue my career. Thank you to the professors, clinical instructors, and mentors who pushed me toward my greatest capabilities. I couldn't have done this without the support of my family and friends, who stood by me throughout this chapter of my life. All in all, I am honored to go into my career with JMU Nursing School in my background, and am forever grateful for everything that it's given me. I wish the best to everyone else in this program, and I can't wait to see what we do next. 💜💛"

Catherine Keith has accepted a RN position on the Neuro ICU at UVA Health. She writes, "These last 2 years in the nursing program have been the most challenging, rewarding, and transformative. I have grown so much as a person throughout the program, and I couldn't be more thankful. Looking back, I can see how every challenge contributed to my growth and shaped me into a more resilient and capable nursing student. To my family, thank you for providing so much support and encouragement throughout the last 2 years. I couldn't have done it without you constantly reminding me that I am strong enough. To my friends, thank you for pushing me to take study breaks and constantly reminding me to breathe, laugh, and step away when I needed it most. Lastly, thank you to all of the professors who challenged me and supported me. I will forever be grateful for the journey the JMU School of Nursing has given me and for the experiences that have shaped me into the nurse I am becoming. Congrats to the rest of my cohort, and as always, GO DUKES!"
