FRIDAY FUN FACT - Lambda Sigma Rho was chartered on April 7, 1960, making it the first Greek social fraternity established on the Johnstown College of the University of Pittsburgh campus. As the inaugural local social fraternity, Lambda Sigma Rho laid much of the groundwork for the campus's early social and extracurricular student traditions.

The fraternity remained an active and prominent fixture within Pitt-Johnstown student life for over two decades before becoming inactive in 1982.

Decades after its active chapter era concluded, alumni brothers have maintained tight bonds through regular regional get-togethers, and annual reunions.
