You never know what opportunities might pop up in the Bio Department! Today, our pre-vet students helped Dr. Dahlin feed kittens that had lost their Mother.

Ornithology students visited Powdermill Center of Avian Ecology to learn about bird banding, aging and sexing of migratory birds. They saw some common and not so common birds!

The cats are back for another semester in the Bio lounge, to the delight of our students! There was a rush to meet the new kittens.

For anyone unfamiliar with our kitties on campus program, Professor Dr. Dahlin ( Dr. Dahlin Talks Animals) brings cats or kittens needing socialization from her rescue to campus. Interested students pet and hold the kittens, preparing them for fur-ever families.

Many students are away from their personal pets, so this gives them an opportunity to interact with animals.
