There is always something fun going on! Friday saw faculty, alumni, family, and friends of the Geosciences and the Environment Department watch the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the Boston Red Sox! The Pirates come through with the win in the hard fought battle. Make sure you are following our social media to future Division and Department events!

It's summer, but our Geosciences Department is always into something! From their post... "Adelynn York (Class of '26) and Dr. Matt Sernell took some time today to finish off the UPJ Amphibian Habitat. This project, funded by the Alice Waters Thomas Fund that support undergraduate research. Over the coming months and years, amphibians will have a home here at UPJ and provide countless opportunities for research!"

Guest speakers are a key part of learning concepts in Social Science. Here is guest speaker was Walter Dunn, who spoke about his efforts to show he was wrongly convicted in Florida. He was convicted and he was released early. These perspectives add to the education you receive here at UPJ.
