On May 12, 2026, faculty and staff from the URI College of Nursing came together for Program Evaluation Day — an important opportunity to reflect, collaborate, and strengthen our programs through data-informed discussion and strategic planning.

The afternoon included presentations on undergraduate and graduate program outcomes, simulation data, and insights from EBI & Skyfactor surveys, followed by breakout sessions focused on identifying areas of strength, opportunities for improvement, and actionable next steps.

Many contributed their time, expertise, and thoughtful dialogue throughout the day. Events like these highlight our shared commitment to continuous improvement, student success, and excellence in nursing education.

Yesterday we wrapped up the year with our Nursing Pathway End of Year Celebration
We had the honor of hearing from five incredible graduating seniors who shared their journeys through nursing school, the highs, the challenges, and everything in between. Their stories, advice, and future plans were truly inspiring and a reminder of how far hard work and passion can take you.

We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make in healthcare.

We also took a moment to celebrate someone very special, our former Pathway Coordinator, Diane DiTomasso. Thank you for your dedication, guidance, and the lasting impact you’ve had on this program. You’ve helped shape so many future nurses, and we are beyond grateful.
