Join us in celebrating our 2026 Brenda G. Lawson Legacy of Leadership Award recipient, Brenda Speer.🎉

A proud Tennessee alumna and Giles County native, Speer has spent her life lifting others through education, mentorship and service. From playing a key role in the merger of Martin Methodist College into the UT System as UT Southern to inspiring her community through her philanthropy and vision, her impact across Middle Tennessee is lasting and meaningful.

We were honored to recognize Speer at our symposium on April 17. Her leadership continues to inspire generations.
