Check out our Jaguars on the USA History in Japan program, where students visited sites such as the Jurori-Ji Temple in Kyoto, the Osaka Castle in Osaka, and the Edi Tokyo Open Air Museum, all while learning about Japanese history.

You can learn about how you can join programs like this one by joining the Office of International Education for our largest event of the year, the September Study Abroad Fair! We will be packing the Downstairs Student Center lobby on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 10am - 2pm.

Are you planning to study abroad this academic year and want to learn about high dollar study abroad scholarships?
The Study Abroad Office is hosting a workshop on Nationally Competitive Study Abroad Scholarships! These scholarships include The Gilman Scholarship Program, the Freeman-Asia Scholarship, Fund for Education Abroad and the Boren Awards. Workshop details are below! We will be going over eligibility requirements, how to compose a competitive essay and helpful tips on the application process.

Pizza will be served. Kindly RSVP by noon on Wednesday, September 2nd.

Time: 4:30pm - 5:45pm
Location: Marx Library Auditorium

To encourage application submission, the Study Abroad Office will award students who successfully submit a Gilman Essay! Students who submit an application will receive a scholarship from our office regardless if they are awarded a Gilman scholarship!

Sarah Leonard, an Allied Health student, shares some of her favorite things about her experience abroad! Swipe to see some great moments🥹

Sarah traveled with one of our faculty-led programs, USA Psychology in Denmark: Happiness and Mental Wellness across the Lifespan, where students got the opportunity to explore how culture, social systems, and national values shape psychological development, mental health, well-being, and happiness. In just two weeks, students had the opportunity to take 2 psychology courses while reflecting on the intersections between individual development, mental illness, wellness and broader cultural influences in a country consistently ranked among the happiest in the world.
