For more than five years, I've been living with kidney disease.
Today, I'm sharing something deeply personal because I've reached a point where I can no longer face this journey quietly: I need a living kidney donor.
Writing those words has been one of the hardest things I've ever done.
I've always been someone who prefers to handle challenges privately, but this isn't something I can overcome on my own. My kidneys have deteriorated to the point where they can no longer keep me alive without a transplant.
I'm not asking anyone to make an immediate decision; I'm simply asking you to consider learning more about living kidney donation.
The first step is a confidential, no-obligation conversation with the transplant team. Asking questions doesn't commit you to anythingโit simply gives you the information you need to decide whether moving forward is right for you.
Even if becoming a donor isn't something you can do, you can still help in an incredible way.
Please share my story. Someone in your circle may be the person I've been praying for.
