The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It’s a tool for any student who wants to be considered for federal, state and school financial aid programs.

Most people can finish the form in around 10 minutes, so don’t let time stop you. If you’re interested in using scholarships, grants and loans to fund your education, complete your FAFSA form by the priority filing deadline on March 1, 2027: fafsa.gov
