We are proud to celebrate Brenda Clement, Director of our Community Development Program, who was recently featured in Providence Business News “Driving Forces” series.

Brenda is a true example of what we call a pracademic; someone who doesn’t just teach the curriculum but actively does the work behind it. As Executive Director HousingWorks RI at RWU, she brings years of experience addressing Rhode Island’s housing challenges directly into the classroom.

That real-world perspective is at the heart of our Community Development Program. Students learn from practitioners like Brenda while building the skills to create meaningful change in housing, public health, education, economic development, government and beyond.

With certificate, bachelor’s and master’s degree pathways available, there is an option for wherever you are in your educational and professional journey.
Fall classes begin August 26. Learn more and take your next step:
