Hi all! We wanted to share an opportunity to get civically involved this month– by joining us to visit one of Washoe Retired Education Association's postcard writing sessions for gubernatorial candidate Aaron Ford on October 13th, 4-6pm, at the WEA Office (1890 Donald St.). ✍️
We want to make civic engagement accessible, so carpooling is an option with our officers on this day. Just RSVP using the QR or link in bio. Let's make it a day of good trouble 💪💙.

This summer, 3 Nevada Aspiring Educators that hail from our chapter got the opportunity to attend the 2026 NEA Aspiring Educators Conference in Denver, CO. Traveling with our new AE Liaison Chris Daly and NSEA President Dawn Etcheverry, every attendee got the opportunity to gain organizing skills to make our chapters and causes stronger, in collaboration with other AEs from all over the country ❤️

Thank you to Tariq Washington and Luis Galvez for volunteering themselves for this opportunity. We'll return stronger in the fall!
