Founded in 1965, DURP has been a leader in planning education for decades and shaped planning practice in a state internationally known for innovations in the areas of comprehensive planning, emergency management, land conservation, urban design, public health, and the transportation-land use nexus. Additionally, here at Florida State University, it's our mission to create a positive, respectful environment where people can feel comfortable openly sharing their thoughts, ideas and opinions. We carry that same mission over into the online world. We understand that not everyone will agree with everything that's said on our page, and that's alright! We will, however, take action against things that undermine our mission to be respectful of one another. If you use vulgar, racist, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate language, we'll take it down.
