Celebrate Community with Krannert Center for the Performing Arts! 🎶 🎨

Campus, community groups, and individuals are invited to participate in a Community Procession as part of Krannert Center's Opening Night Celebration on Thursday, September 3 at 4:30 p.m. on the plaza of the Illini Union facing the Quad.

Mucca Pazza, a twenty-eight-piece punk marching band, will lead the walk to Krannert Center along with large-scale puppets created by the Chicago International Puppet Festival.

What an absolute blast! 🥳 Huge thanks to the 120+ community members, students, and partners who joined us today for our annual "We Are Dye-ing to Meet You!" welcome event! 👕🎨

The energy was unmatched! The courtyard was buzzing with creative t-shirt tie-dyeing, powwow music, fun lawn games, and plenty of pizza! Shoutout to the 14 fantastic campus departments who rocked our Mini Resource Fair, and connected our students to awesome support services and resources right from the start. To our new and returning students: welcome home! We can’t wait to see what this year brings. ❤️
