Part of this year's Tallgrass lineup, Yo (Love Is a Rebellious Bird) screens at Shocker Studios.

Oct. 15 • Shocker Studios • 7 PM

After losing her friend Yo, Anna spends a decade building a detailed 1/3-scale replica of Yo’s house, just large enough to squeeze through the door, with a puppet of Yo inside. Blending vérité footage with handcrafted recreation, the film is a powerful tribute to a woman who lived life on her own terms. (dir. Anna Fitch, Banker White)
