Italian Dressmaking School was founded in 1961 in Johannesburg and has since taught thousands of students across the country.

Women owned and run since its inception our goal is to help you create clothes that are made to fit size you.

Mom and I got down to the children’s long awaited book today over tea and Joburg rain. As a relatively new mom myself, I am beyond excited to be getting going on this book. The last iteration mom and I worked on didn’t include any children’s wear and we are really excited to be putting together the course you need to stitch up some fabulous and fun things for your bambini!

We tie the ribbons, make the boxes, assemble the patternmakers, fold the paper, we create the patterns, support students, send emails. It’s a one stop shop over here! Lol
