On Sunday 2 August, St Mark’s hosted Recharge Day, bringing Collegians together to raise awareness and start conversations about men’s mental health.

The day featured a Big Freeze-style ice bucket challenge, with Collegians and staff braving the cold for a good cause. Before taking on the ice, participants shared their advice and answered questions about how to support people who may be struggling, as well as ways students can look after their own mental health.

The event was organised by our 2026 Equity Officers, Lily Delaland and Matthew Dixon, who would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who got involved. Thanks to the generosity of our community, Recharge Day raised $1,000!
