Despite the shuffle - a great night of training, with 48 of us out there! With a smidge of cross pollination we had a smattering of socialisers, 13 dancers, 13 armoured combatants, and 22 on the rapier field!
+ in rapier we had a ‘tag team’ of 9 performing some sweet war tactics on the chasey field 😉

This Friday! Mock rapier tournament at Saint Christina’s. Garb encouraged! Go get a taste of tournaments & court! Flinders Uni, Bedford Park. See their socials for more info.

Good Morning Collegians!

We have our free weekly training on tonight ✨ 6pm - 8.30pm ✨ & medieval dancing alongside from 6pm-7pm 💃.

Rapier fencing, medieval dancing, A&S and socialising will be in the Rumours Café, lvl 6 of Union House.
Armoured combat will be roadside of red gum park, just to the East of the boat shed - location pics attached.

If you want to do dance & then armoured combat there’ll be someone happy to walk you over after dance so you don’t get lost!

p.s. we typically head to The British on Finniss St afterwards.

Good Morning Collegians and any newcomers just seeing this!

Training is on tonight in the Rumours cafe from 6pm-8:00pm. Level 6 of Union house, above the Uni bar.
We’ll have Rapier fencing, Heavy combat, A&S and socialising all together! 🛡️

Also! We’re at Clubs Fair - Today and Tomorrow! 🎪⚔️
And we’ll be running Rapier on the Barr Smith Lawns from 11-2pm today, come check them out, or even better - come join in!

We’ll see you out there ⚔️ 🎵 🎨

Evening Good Gentles all!

*Want to fence the day away tomorrow?* ⚔️

If you're free tomorrow at any time between 10am & 3pm we’d love some help for Clubs Fair!! Even if you can only pop by for an hour.

Tomorrow we have the Rapier demos on the Barr Smith Lawns, and a stall inside Hub Central both tomorrow & Wednesday.

Rapier demos:
Barr Smith Lawns, 18th August,
all are welcome and wanted! Not just students but baronial fencers as well! We’ll also have the BH loaner gear, so it’s ok if you can’t bring your full kit.
The demo style will be attendee & MiC choice; will it be an all day tourney, general fighting, King of the Hill, or drills? You choose!

The stall:
Inside Hub Central, 18th/ 19th August.
Exact location of stall we find out in the morning.

The Wednesday heavy demos have been cancelled due to rain and lack of marshals. But!! We still need help for the Stall! At least one more person otherwise we won’t be able to run it.

For both days,
Set up: 10am
Start: 11am
Finish: 2pm
Bump out by: 3pm

Garb is heavily encouraged but it’s a school day, we understand if you can’t.
