📱🤝 Thank You to Our Kenmare Area Schools 🤝📱St. John's National School, Kenmare Tulloha National School Cahir NS Kenmare

As the school year draws to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the schools in the Kenmare area that participated in the Agree to Agree® programme.

Your commitment to working together as school communities—bringing together school leaders, teachers, parents, Boards of Management, and students—has been at the heart of this important initiative.

Throughout the year, participating schools engaged in meaningful conversations about digital device use, online safety, and digital wellbeing. By listening to the voices of all stakeholders and working collaboratively, each school community has taken important steps towards developing a shared understanding and a positive approach to technology use.

A special word of thanks to Dr. Maureen Griffin, who expertly facilitated the programme throughout the year. Maureen’s knowledge, guidance, and passion for supporting children, families, and schools in navigating the digital world helped make each session engaging, informative, and impactful.

We are grateful for the time, energy, and openness shown by everyone involved. Your willingness to engage in the process has helped lay the foundations for stronger partnerships and healthier digital cultures within our schools.

Thank you for your leadership, participation, and commitment to creating sustainable and community-informed agreements that will benefit children and young people for years to come.

We look forward to continuing this journey together.

✨ Táimid thar a bheith bródúil as ár ndaltaí a bhí le feiceáil i Kerry’s Eye an tseachtain seo ag ceiliúradh cruthaitheacht, códú, comhoibriú agus nuálaíocht ag Lá Taispeántais LEGO Spike STEAM san Óstán Meadowlands.

D’oibrigh na hinnealtóirí óga go dian ar a dtionscadail “Clós Scoile na Todhchaí” agus rinne siad ionadaíocht den scoth ar an scoil. 👏🧱💡

Buíochas mór leis an Education Support Centre Tralee agus le gach duine a d’eagraigh an tionscnamh spreagúil seo ✨ Delighted to see our pupils featured in this week’s Kerry’s Eye celebrating creativity, coding, collaboration and innovation through the LEGO Spike STEAM Showcase Day in the Meadowlands Hotel.

Our budding engineers worked incredibly hard designing their “School Yard of the Future” projects and represented the school with pride. 👏🧱💡

A huge thank you to the Education Support Centre Tralee and everyone involved in organising such an inspiring initiative.
