“Balancing, Bandwagoning, or Hedging? Foreign Policy Choices of Small and Medium-Sized States Amid Great Power Rivalry”, zorganizowana przez National Chung Hsing University w Taichung. W konferencji uczestniczyli badacze z wielu międzynarodowych ośrodków akademickich, w tym naukowcy uwzględnieni w prestiżowym zestawieniu “World’s Top 2% Scientists”. W dyskusjach podejmowano m.in. kwestie bezpieczeństwa, demokratycznej odporności i strategicznych wyborów państw w warunkach rywalizacji mocarstw.
Dziękujemy naszym tajwańskim partnerom za zorganizowanie pobytu i stworzenie przestrzeni do tak wartościowej współpracy akademickiej.🤝

🇹🇼 Our study visit to Taiwan continued with visits to Kaohsiung and Taichung.
🎓 At National Sun Yat-sen University, our students met with their Taiwanese peers. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to introduce our Faculty, present the study opportunities available at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies (WNPiSM UW), and answer numerous questions. For our students, it was a valuable opportunity to develop their intercultural competencies and represent the University of Warsaw's academic community.
🌍 The final part of the programme was the international conference entitled “Balancing, Bandwagoning, or Hedging? Foreign Policy Choices of Small and Medium-Sized States Amid Great Power Rivalry”, organised by National Chung Hsing University in Taichung. The conference brought together researchers from academic institutions around the world, including scholars featured in the prestigious “World’s Top 2% Scientists” ranking. Discussions addressed topics such as security, democratic resilience, and the strategic choices of states amid great power rivalry.
We return from Taiwan not only with new connections and academic inspiration, but also with invaluable experiences gained by our students. We are proud of their commitment, openness, and the way they represented our Faculty! 🫶
We would like to thank our Taiwanese partners for organising the visit and creating opportunities for such meaningful academic cooperation. 🤝
