"My first couple of weeks in Stockholm felt like being a visitor in a place I was supposed to call home. I had to think about which trains to take to school, figure out where to buy groceries, learn my way around my neighborhood, and constantly check where I was going next. As the first graduate student to participate in the SPICE Program in Erfurt, Germany, Michelle Lavergne spent her summer exploring strategic communication from a new cultural perspective. 🇩🇪

Through coursework at the University of Erfurt, Michelle gained insights into how communication practices differ across cultures while strengthening her professional skills. Outside the classroom, she traveled throughout Europe and reconnected with family, making the experience both academically and personally rewarding.
