"My Maymester abroad in Sicily was an amazing opportunity to explore the history, culture, and food of the ancient world, about which I will teach as a Latin teacher. The trip was co-sponsored by the Nutrition and Classics departments, blending food production, agriculture, history, and archaeology into one awesome experience. The program gave me a tangible (and tasteable) understanding of the Mediterranean diet, Sicily, and Roman history, which will provide me with an abundance of examples to bring to the classroom as a teacher."
