The University of Texas at Austin's Collegiate Chapter of SAE International and the American Solar Challenge!

UT SAE provides its members opportunities to gain broader insight into all fields of engineering by hosting events which bring practicing engineers to campus, arranging tours of research facilities and engineering firms, sponsoring student engineering projects, and networking with other student SAE chapters from across the United States. Our Collegiate Design Series teams, Longhorn Racing Combustion and Longhorn Racing Electric, provide students the opportunity to get out of the classroom and gain invaluable engineering experience in a challenging and hands-on environment.
