The Baltimore August Wilson Celebration presented a phenomenal Dramaturgy workshop by Dr. Khalid Long at Morgan State University yesterday. Lesley Malin (BAWC producer) and Kayla Schultz, who keep the Celebration moving at full steam ahead, joined us along with a wonderful audience and participants from the TWO TRAINS RUNNING cast, students, and community members. Our Conductor and Director of TWO TRAINS RUNNING, CJay Philip, worked her moderator magic. Afterward, the cast resumed rehearsal, invigorated by the workshop and discussion. Cjay Philip, the director of our upcoming production of August Wilson's TWO TRAINS RUNNING, which is a part of the citywide Baltimore August Wilson Celebration, represented Theatre Morgan.
