October is Liver Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re asking you to help us Hep B the Change! 💉

Hepatitis B is a leading cause of liver cancer, and many people living with it feel fine for years without knowing they’re infected. The good news: a safe, effective vaccine can protect your liver and lower your risk of liver cancer.

✅ CDC recommends hep B vaccination for all adults ages 19–59, and for adults 60+ with risk factors (any adult 60+ who wants protection can get it too)
✅ It’s a 2- or 3-dose series, depending on the brand
✅ Missed a dose? No need to restart. Just pick up where you left off!

Not all carbs affect blood sugar the same way. The SNPhA Notre Dame of Maryland University Chapter is breaking down how diabetes-specific nutrition products like Glucerna support blood glucose management:

📉 Slow-release carbs (CARBSTEADY) help minimize blood sugar spikes
💪 Protein and fiber support fullness and steadier glucose
🏃🏻‍♀️ A convenient, portion-controlled option for a diabetes meal plan on-the-go

💊 Talk with your pharmacist before adding these products to your routine. They’re meant to be part of an overall diabetes plan, not a replacement for medication.
