Faculty Activities: Katherine Reinhart at the Royal Society of London

Prof. Katherine Reinhart presented a research talk at the conference Scientific Portraits and Portraits of Science, which took place March 20, 2026 at the Royal Society of London. Prof. Reinhart's talk, "Portraits and their Meanings in the early Académie Royale des Sciences," examined several unique group portraits of academy members in various media, addressing their contexts and iconography as well as their significance to both the history of portraiture and scientific visual culture more broadly.
