MUCEHDBridge Vision: To address critical societal needs in education and human development by connecting our shared humanity.

Mission: To expand perspectives on social issues through opportunities of learning, training, and service. The Bridge was initiated in August 2015 in the College of Education and provides a brave and inclusive space for students, faculty, and staff to expand their multicultural knowledge, awareness, and skills. We provide programming opportunities for all Mizzou Ed individuals to connect with one another.

Bridge to Mizzou AVID: AVID mentoring program is an opportunity to mentor students in the Columbia high school and middle school community. This program is open to ALL students, both undergraduate and graduate and ALL majors.
Showcase your skills, build connections with other student mentors, and take the opportunity to apply now!

Thank you to everyone who has gotten the chance to leave a note and positive feedback for the artist and took a look at the beautiful art that she has displayed. If you still haven't gotten the chance, come to East Townsend Hallway to check out Jadi Davis' exhibit "Felt(IT)ed" 🧶🎨!

Coming up, we have the opportunity to actually talk to the artist and expand more upon her pieces she chose to display. Come join us in The Bridge or join us on Zoom at https://bit.ly/Sp26ArtistTalk. From the description she gave, she describes her pieces as honoring her ancestors and heritage while also being inspired by nature, history, and the lived cultural experiences and narratives of African American communities. As we are getting closer to the end of the semester (OMG you guys 😆), our last book discussion is coming up! We will discussing the book "ACE: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of S*x" by Angela Chen. This book explores asexuality in the format of a memoir that includes topics like societal norms, intimacy, attraction, and more.
