Calling all Student Activists!
Interested in participating in projects to increase student well-being? Looking for a space to advocate for your peers? Want to vote on matters that affect the entire campus?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, look no further! The Rowan University Student Government Association (SGA) is currently seeking Senator representatives for various demographics around campus.
Serving as a Senator offers a variety of soft skills, including, but not limited to: public speaking, negotiation, group assessment, and critical analysis of both social issues and structural documents. As a Senator, you can get:
• voting power in Senate,
• placement in Committees,
• structured meetings, and
• communications with faculty and students.
Senators attend and vote in weekly SGA meetings on Monday nights from 7 - 9 PM, along with getting the opportunity to work first-hand on projects to increase student well-being and university advancement!
