We're proud of our Computer Technology faculty! Last week, Greg Paonessa, Josh Hamilton, and Walter Zapotoczny represented us at the 2026 Elevate Appalachia Conference, hosted by Pellissippi State Community College in Maryville, Tennessee.

They presented "Building Cybersecurity Pathways: Expanding Access, Strengthening Partnerships, and Preparing the Workforce," showcasing the successes of the College's Computer Information Technology and Cybersecurity programs.

Highlights included:

💰 More than $257,000 awarded in scholarships since Spring 2023.
🏫 Affordable pathways for high schoolers, college students, and adult learners.
📚 Stackable credentials, from dual enrollment to associate degrees and beyond.
🤝 Strong regional partnerships, including the PC4A Consortium with Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Over the past few weeks, our Ebensburg students and staff have been hard at work filling candy bags and painting windows to prepare for last night's Trunk-or-Treat event at its plaza. 🎃

When the big day arrived, more than 200 local children joined us, and they had a blast meeting our black bear mascot!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a treat. 🍬
