Hospitality and Tourism Management is all about connecting learning with the people, places, and experiences that make our region such a special destination!
HTM faculty member Amanda Donaldson-Galloway, Department Chair Paige Vitulli and many additional CEPS faculty and staff had the opportunity to tour the new Gulf Shores High School and explore exciting possibilities for collaboration.
A special thank you to Assistant Superintendent of Instruction & Innovation Stephanie Harrison, Superintendent Matt Akin, and Board President Kevin Corcoran for the warm welcome and thoughtful tour. We were especially excited to see the innovative, hands-on learning environments and career-focused opportunities being created for students.
With Gulf Shores at the heart of Alabama’s tourism and hospitality industry, there is tremendous potential to build connections between high school students, the University of South Alabama’s Hospitality and Tourism Management program, and our region’s hospitality and tourism partners.
We look forward to continuing the conversation and exploring opportunities for student engagement, experiential learning, career pathways, and partnerships that strengthen the hospitality and tourism workforce across the Gulf Coast.
The future of hospitality and tourism is being built right here in our region—and we’re excited to be part of it! Gulf Shores High School
