With enrollment in downtown programs projected to reach 8,000 students this fall, twice as many as last year, Downtown San Antonio is becoming an extension of the classroom!

This semester also marks the exciting opening of San Pedro II, the new home of UT San Antonio’s College of AI, Cyber and Computing. Located near employers, nonprofits and government agencies, programs downtown allow students to connect what they learn in the classroom with career-building experiences across the city.

Hear from UT San Antonio Provost Dr. Heather Shipley about how the Downtown Campus is expanding opportunities for students to gain real-world experience and prepare for their careers. https://bit.ly/4zKZhbg

At UT San Antonio, students don't have to wait until graduation to gain professional experience.

Mackenzi Roach, an anthropology major, is turning her passion for history, research, and storytelling into hands-on learning through UT San Antonio Libraries & Museums and the Preserving Archives of Texas Heritage (PATH) program. Experiences like these help students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world careers while preparing for success after graduation.
