Business analytics major Nurizah Aziz worked as a business analyst intern at Marathon Petroleum this summer. She learned how business analysts bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to solve real-world challenges.
"What makes this journey special to me is that I did not start college knowing I would pursue a career in business and technology. Changing my major was a leap of faith, but it taught me that being open to new opportunities can lead to unexpected success."
Receiving a return offer to continue working with Marathon this fall, Nurizah encourages students to never let their original career path limit what they believe they can accomplish. Sometimes the path you never planned becomes the one that helps you discover your potential.
