Texas A&M University-San Antonio recently honored nearly 80 Early College High School and dual credit students during the University’s first-ever recognition ceremony.

The students, representing Harlandale STEM Early College High School and Southwest Preparatory Early College High School, earned 42 or more college credit hours while still completing their high school coursework.

The ceremony celebrated not only academic achievement, but also the partnerships between families, school districts and the University that help students get a head start on their college journey.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio has earned the Red River Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Award for the third consecutive year.

The annual award recognizes the institution that demonstrates the highest level of sportsmanship across its athletics programs through teamwork, fair play, integrity and respect both on and off the field.

The recognition follows a historic year for Jaguar Athletics that included postseason milestones, national tournament appearances and continued growth across multiple programs.

As an e-preferred library, many resources are available 24/7, giving students and faculty access to the information they need anytime, anywhere. Whether you're working on a class project, conducting research or looking for a quiet place to study, the University Library is here to help.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is helping educators across South Texas continue their academic journeys through its Partnership for Graduate Degree Attainment program.

The initiative, created in collaboration with area school districts, supports teachers and staff members pursuing graduate degrees while continuing to serve their communities. Since launching three years ago, the program has expanded to 18 participating school districts and has helped nearly 200 students pursue master’s degrees.

The program was created after local research showed a higher number of teachers with master's degrees positively impacts student achievement.

Texas A&M University-San Antonio is expanding opportunities for students in STEM through a new partnership with Toyota Motor North America. A $25,000 gift from Toyota will support the development of a new high-tech laboratory for the University’s Electronic Systems Engineering Technology program, helping prepare students for careers in manufacturing, energy, avionics and more.

A week later and we’re still not over Commencement.
 
Our Jag grads turned the spotlight back on the people who helped them get here by surprising their loved ones with heartfelt thank-you letters during the ceremony. Safe to say there were a lot of tears, hugs and Jaguar pride in the room.
