Our mission is to provide continuing education for seniors through classes, travel, enrichment experiences, and social activities that contribute to the overall quality of life. Those interested in continuing to learn who are age 50 and above, are invited to participate in this award winning program.

OLLI is part of the Aging Well Roundtable group. Help us learn more about aging well in Stillwater -- the survey is for those currently retired OR for this planning to retire within the next ten years!

You can get a printed copy of the survey in our Stillwater based courses and return to Lura Dahlem, Stillwater Coordinator. You may also pick one up in our office (can be returned to Lura or the office) -- or you can take the survey online. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!

The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, along with local organizations and community leaders, has brought together the Aging Well Roundtable to better understand the needs and opportunities of retirees, aging residents, caregivers, and those planning for retirement.

Our goal is to help make Stillwater a community where people can age well, stay connected, and continue to thrive.

To help us better understand our community’s needs, we are asking Stillwater residents, retirees, caregivers, family members, and those planning for retirement to take our Aging Well Survey. Your feedback will help us identify important services, resources, and opportunities that can support our growing aging population.

Work through René Descartes' classic Meditations on First Philosophy, one meditation each week. Along the way, we'll wrestle with big questions! No philosophy background needed, just come ready for lively discussion! Class is on Mondays, Oct. 5 - Nov. 9, 10am - 12pm.

Dr. Joanna Lawson is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at OSU. She earned her PhD in Philosophy from Yale University and an MPhil in Philosophical Theology from Oxford University.

Join us for the Great Decisions series this Thursday at 10am (yes, you can still enroll!), with Dr. Randy Kluver as we discuss US China Relations in New Trump Era. In the Great Decisions series, our facilitator, Dr. Pam Brown, invites experts on each of the topics selected by the Foreign Policy Association as the most pressing global issues of our time.

Dr. Kluver is the Associate Provost of Oklahoma State University, Dean of the School of Global Studies, and a Professor in the School of Media and Strategic Communication at Oklahoma State University. He has previously served in several faculty and administrative positions at Texas A & M University, National University of Singapore, and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).

Beginning this Thursday, Sept. 23, at 1:30pm, Dr. Shanedra Nowell returns to OLLI to offer this fantastic four-week course, From Landmarks to Legacies: Exploring the Tulsa Race Massacre.

Based in Tulsa, this course will explore the rich history and enduring legacy of Tulsa’s Greenwood District and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. Participants will trace Greenwood's historical significance within Oklahoma and African American history, examine the catastrophic events of the massacre, and consider its impact 105 years later, including the centennial commemoration. The class includes guided tours of the Greenwood Rising Museum and John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park.
