๐ Congratulations to HKU MBA students on winning the Silver Award at the INNOVATEChina 2026 Global Business Competition!
Weโre proud to celebrate our HKU PartโTime MBA students Kris Wong, ACCA, CESGA, Shelene Wong, Emily Cheuk, and Spencer Chan, who represented the HKU MBA at the INNOVATEChina 2026 and captured the Silver Award at the Grand Finale in Shanghai.
The competition brought together 219 participants from 66 teams across 32 countries and regions, as well as over 40 leading schools, with only eight teams advancing to the final round.
Team HKU MBA impressed the judges with their ESGโdriven innovation, GreenStar NEXUS, which introduces two groundbreaking solutions:
1๏ธโฃTiresโasโaโService: A subscription model where fleets operators pay per kilometre, converting tyre expenses into predictable operating costs and delivering a significantly lower total cost of ownership.
2๏ธโฃESG Credential Innovation: The Michelin Green Star Passport Scheme, which transforms tyre and telematics data into auditable ESG scores, unlocking access to green financing and sustainabilityโlinked business opportunities.
๐ฑTogether, these innovations redefine tyres from a oneโoff product into a service plus ESG credential, enabling fleets to cut costs, demonstrate sustainability, and unlock new growth pathways within the evolving mobility ecosystem โ all while meeting the global demand for stronger ESG performance.
A heartfelt thankโyou to all mentors, partners, judges, and sponsors for making this journey so impactful and memorable.
๐ Congratulations once again to the team for exemplifying the talent, innovation, and collaborative spirit that define the HKU MBA experience!
