Two recent graduates of Mizzou's Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program earned national recognition in the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Student Poster Competition.

Jack Kaiser earned first place for his poster, and Gabby Peuterbaugh earned second place in the same competition. Their award-winning work will be recognized and displayed at the 2026 SDMS Annual Conference in Atlanta later this month.

Please join us in congratulating Leslie Hawley on being named director of public health curriculum in Mizzou's Department of Public Health.

In this role, Dr. Hawley will oversee undergraduate and graduate studies and provide leadership for student- and curriculum-related accreditation activities. She succeeds Jenna Wintemberg, who recently became the College of Health Sciences’ associate dean for undergraduate studies. Learn more:

The Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences has appointed Taylor Otto as director of Radiography and Jeanine Treadway as director of Nuclear Medicine. The two faculty members will guide programs focused on preparing the next generation of imaging professionals

Thanks to all of the College of Health Sciences faculty and staff who helped incoming Mizzou students move into the Southwest Village on campus today. It was hot and slightly rainy at times, but all of our new Tigers (and their parents) appreciated the assistance as they got settled into their new homes.
