Get ready for the upcoming event, Creative Alchemy: the Art and Science of Sustainable Wild Eating! The Office for Sustainability is so happy to host Gabrielle Cerberville, aka the Chaotic Forager.
Join us on March 26 in Sangren Hall for a free, interactive, unique presentation that will open your eyes to the world of seeds, edible plants, mushrooms, and more! You will leave the event with the knowledge of how to protect and communicate with nature through foraging. This event is for students, staff, and faculty.

Date and Time: March 26 from noon to 1:30 p.m.

Struggling with hills? Proper gear shifting can make climbing easier and save your energy!

Before the hill: Get momentum and power. Start pedaling in a higher gear.
During the climb: Pedal at a steady pace—don’t mash the pedals and start to drop your gears lower as you ride up the hill.
After reaching the top: Shift back to a higher gear to maintain speed.

Smooth shifting = less effort & better control! Try practicing on small inclines first. 🚴‍♂️
