Waldo Library is located on Western Michigan University's main campus and houses the majority of the university's print collection. Waldo Library also features a variety of spaces and amenities, including individual and group study space, a virtual reality lab, a Learning Glass studio, a multimedia editing studio and the Graduate Student Commons. The Zhang Legacy Collections Center is located on Western Michigan University's east campus and houses the university archives and regional collections.

Thank you for attending our "Data Cartels, Surveillance and Your Information" keynote with Sarah Lamdan. We had thoughtful discussion about data privacy and learned how companies are compiling and aggregating our personal data in unexpected ways, often without regulation or awareness of how it can be used.

Our keynote speaker, Sarah Lamdan, met with journalists from the Southwest Michigan Journalism Collaborative to chat about data privacy and their work in our communities.

Lamdan will speak today at 4 p.m. in 3016 Waldo Library on "Data Cartels, Surveillance and Your Information." This event is free and open to the public.
