Giving Broncos on-the-job, experiential learning is something we are passionate about.

A team of our student supervisors attended the Michigan Student Employment Summit last Friday to learn how to enhance our training programs, navigate work study and make working on campus as impactful as possible. Thanks to Western's Career and Student Employment Services for hosting this engaging event!

Say hello to Camden, our summer graphic design intern! Camden is using his skills and knowledge from the classroom on the job, designing signage and print materials to help you navigate and use the University Libraries.

Camden is going into his senior year here at Western, double majoring in Graphic Design and English with a Creative Writing Emphasis. His passions as a designer are to take inspiration from the things he enjoys and getting others to fall in love with them as well.

Today we say farewell and thank you to President Montgomery on his final day leading Western. Through challenges and triumphs, his steady leadership helped us live out our mission: So that all may learn.

We will never forget his warmth, his encouragement and his unwavering support for students, faculty and staff. 💛🤎 And of course—we’ll always remember those legendary Bronco hats and finals week treat days in Waldo!

Thank you, Dr. Montgomery. Your legacy lives on in every Bronco who calls this place home.

WMU Libraries

Waldo Library is Western Michigan University’s main library serving students, faculty, and staff. Focused on academic research support all 4 libraries have resources and services to assist a freshman working on their first college research paper, a graduate student needing to find more on-target resources for a project and a study commons. Over 14 librarians provide help to instructors needing a new class resource or more specific database articles for a grant proposal.

Maybee Music and Dance Library in Dalton Center supports the unique needs of music and dance students. Swain Education Library in Sangren Hall supports soon-to-be teachers with education resources and services. Zhang Legacy Collections Center: Archives and Regional History supports the WMU historical needs and archives historical materials for a 12 county area of southwest Michigan.

Beyond providing spaces for study and team meetings, services include research consultation time with specialized librarians and course research instruction for professors. Ask a librarian. http://wmich.edu/library/services/appointments
