On Friday, LMU Law Review hosted their fall of 2026 Law Review Symposium: Volunteer State: National Debate. Thank you to all of the speakers who took part in our symposium and thank you to the amazing students and faculty who made the day possible.

Students got the chance to watch a courtroom simulation with this years mock trial team. Students were able to watch the mock trial team practice a short trial from opening statements to witness testimony. Finally, students who watched were able to act as the jury and decide the verdict!

Our Criminal Law Society recently toured Bledsoe County Correctional Complex, gaining firsthand insight into the many aspects of the correctional system.

Students learned about intake and classification, reentry services, and educational and vocational programs, including the women’s cosmetology program and the men’s diesel mechanics and woodworking shops where they got the opportunity to talk with incarcerated individuals.

Thank you to Bledsoe County Correctional Complex for welcoming our students and providing this valuable learning experience.
