All are invited to join us for the Ebert Center's first film of the season—the screening of "A.I. Artificial Intelligence" (2001), on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. at the Knight Auditorium, Spurlock Museum. Admission is free.

RogerEbert.com film critic and new Ebert Fellows mentor Isaac Feldberg will introduce the film, which is directed by Steven Spielberg and attributed as Stanley Kubrick’s final work. The film stars Jude Law and Haley Joel Osment, who plays a highly advanced robotic boy longing to become “real” to regain the love of his human mother. The family must navigate the difference between human and AI, as the robot begins to present more danger than love.

Food truck and concessions will be available at 6 p.m.

Presented by the Roger Ebert Center for Film Studies.
