WSU's Sport Management program prepares students for careers in all aspects of the sport industry.

Wichita State University's Sport Management program prepares undergraduate and graduate students for careers in the management of sport entertainment, sport participation and sporting goods organizations. At WSU, you'll go beyond the classroom, honing your skills and developing contacts in real-world settings throughout the city and across the nation. Wichita State is one of 45 universities in the world to receive specialized accreditation for its sport management programs through the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA).

The Kansas Recreation and Park Association invites college students to participate in the Student Poster Presentation Challenge at the 2027 KRPA Conference and Trade Show in Wichita, Kansas, on January 26. This project gives students the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to a real-world parks and recreation scenario, develop an innovative idea, and connect with professionals from across the state.
