認識自己．連結他人－「自我探索：MBTI 16型人格解密工作坊」
Getting to Know Yourself, Connecting with Others: “Self-Discovery: MBTI 16 Personality Types Workshop”

為協助同學深入了解自身性格特質並提升人際溝通技巧，公開進修學院於2026年10月13日舉辦「自我探索：MBTI 16型人格解密工作坊」。是次工作坊吸引多位遙距及兼讀課程同學踴躍參與，透過互動體驗及性格分析，一同探索自我，掌握職場上與人溝通的方法。
活動由資深導師帶領，結合MBTI情境案例分享及分組討論，分析16種人格類型的特徵及其在工作和人際關係中的不同表現。參加者積極分享個人經歷和測試結果，互相交流對性格特質及溝通模式的見解，現場氣氛熱烈融洽。
不少參加者表示，工作坊有助他們更深入了解自己的性格特質及潛能，亦加深他們對不同處事方式和溝通風格的認識，令他們在處理人際關係上更加如魚得水。展望未來，公開進修學院期望透過舉辦更多多元化的個人成長活動，支持學生全人發展，促進彼此交流，建立更緊密的校園社群聯繫。

To help students gain deeper insights into their personality traits and enhance their interpersonal communication skills, the School of Open Learning organised the “Self-Discovery: MBTI 16 Personality Types Workshop” on 13 October 2026. The event drew enthusiastic participation from many distance-learning and part-time students, who engaged in interactive experiences and personality analysis to explore their potential and master effective workplace communication strategies.
Led by an experienced facilitator. The workshop integrated MBTI scenario analysis with group discussions to examine the core characteristics of the 16 personality types and how they behave in work and social settings. Participants actively shared their personal experiences and assessment results, exchanging insights on personality traits and communication styles in a lively and collaborative atmosphere.
Many participants commented that the workshop helped them gain a better understanding of their personality traits and potential, while also increasing their awareness of different approaches to communication and interaction. Looking ahead, the School of Open Learning will host a wide range of personal development activities to support students’ holistic growth, foster mutual engagement, and build a closer campus community.

Brewing a Second Life: Sustainable Coffee Craft x Alumni Entrepreneurship Talk

一杯香濃咖啡，是不少都市人開啟嶄新一天不可或缺的晨間儀式。但你是否曾想過，那些每日被隨手丟棄的咖啡渣，其實蘊含著無限的再生可能與綠色商機？只要發揮創意，也能變廢為寶，甚至成為踏出商業實踐的第一步。

月圓人團圓：中秋手作燈籠工作坊 – 製作你的專屬燈籠 | Moon Full, Hearts United: Mid-Autumn Handmade Lantern Workshop – Handcrafting your own lantern

由公開進修學院主辦的「月圓人團圓：中秋手作燈籠工作坊」已於2026年9月19日圓滿舉行。是次活動以中秋傳統文化為主題，吸引了多位遙距及兼讀課程同學與校友熱情參與，讓他們在繁忙的工作外，透過製作燈籠感受節日氣氛，認識中秋習俗及紙雕燈籠的文化特色。

活動當天，導師先以輕鬆有趣的互動遊戲和參加者拉近距離，活躍氣氛。隨後參加者在導師的指示下，把各個紙雕部件組裝成精巧華麗的燈籠。期間，參加者更互相協助及交流製作燈籠的心得，氣氛愉悅。

是次活動不僅讓參加者能親手製作燈籠慶賀佳節，亦提供了一個放慢腳步、與同儕交流的機會。未來，公開進修學院期望透過多元化的文化及體驗活動，豐富學生校園生活，促進同學和校友之間的交流與連結，讓大家在學習以外感受校園社群的溫暖與歸屬感。

The “Moon Full, Hearts United: Mid-Autumn Handmade Lantern Workshop”, organised by the School of Open Learning, was successfully held on September 19, 2026. Centred on the traditional culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the event drew enthusiastic participation from distance learning and part-time students as well as alumni. It offers an opportunity to take a break from their busy schedules, experience the festive spirit through lantern making, and learn about Mid-Autumn traditions and the cultural characteristics of paper-carved lanterns.

The workshop kicked off with engaging ice-breaker games led by the instructor, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. Under step-by-step guidance, participants carefully assembled individual paper-carved components into exquisite, ornate lanterns. Throughout the hands-on session, attendees actively assisted one another and exchanged crafting tips, filling the venue with joy.

This event not only enabled participants to craft their own lanterns for the festival, but also provided a welcoming space to slow down and bond with peers. Moving forward, the School of Open Learning looks forward to enriching campus life through a diverse array of cultural and experiential activities. By fostering stronger connections among students and alumni, SOL aims to cultivate a warm, supportive community where everyone feels a deep sense of belonging beyond their academic pursuits.
