【🌟都大學生事務處 ✕ 黃金時代基金會 職場影子實習計劃｜結業典禮🎓】

學生事務處夥拍黃金時代基金會推出嘅「職場影子實習計劃」早前舉行結業禮🥳🎊，邀請學校管理層代表、業界嘉賓及智齡導師出席👏，一同見證同學喺職場影子學習中獲得嘅成長與成果✨

此計劃凝聚 12 間機構，橫跨 10 個多元化專業範疇——包括智齡科技、初創社企、設施管理、物流及航運、金融及食品科學等🌟。企業代表及 GAF 導師喺典禮上分享職場心得及培育年青人才嘅願景💬，同學亦回顧喺工作實地觀察、職場互動同導師指導下嘅得著與反思🙌。席間交流熱烈，氣氛輕鬆又溫馨💫

是次計劃獲多間機構鼎力支持，並由 10 位經驗豐富嘅「智齡導師」為學生提供個人化指導💪。為期 5 天嘅一系列體驗式學習活動，讓同學走入真實工作環境，近距離了解行業實況、人才需求及職場文化🔥。透過同業界專家互動，同學唔單止擴闊視野👀，亦逐步建立專業人際網絡👥，提升溝通技巧及職場觸覺，為未來發展作好準備💼

縱然計劃已圓滿結束，但相信同學、導師與企業代表之間建立嘅連繫會繼續延伸🥰，喺未來路上互相支持、同行成長🌱✨

Co-organised by SAO and Golden Age Foundation (GAF), the Closing Ceremony was recently held to mark its completion🥳🎊. School management representatives, industry guests and Golden Age mentors were invited to attend👏, witnessing together the growth and achievements students gained through workplace shadowing✨

The 5-day programme brought students into real workplaces across 12 companies and 10 professional fields – ranging from innovative smart ageing technology and social enterprise start-ups to facilities management, logistics & shipping, finance and food science🌟. At the ceremony, corporate partners and GAF mentors shared their visions for nurturing young talents💬, while students reflected on what they had gained through job shadowing, on-site observations and mentor guidance🙌 The event was filled with warm and inspiring exchanges💫

With guidance from 10 experienced Golden Age mentors, students not only gained first-hand understanding of industry practices and workplace culture💪, but also expanded their networks👥, sharpened their communication skills and strengthened their career readiness💼

Though the programme has wrapped up, the connections built between students, mentors and company partners will continue to grow🥰and remain mutually supportive🌱✨

#將音樂延續落去 🎶
喺7月4號嘅晚上🌃，香港都會大學室樂團首次走入荃灣大會堂，舉行首場對公眾開放嘅周年匯演《序》🎻。「序」一方面象徵新篇章嘅開始🌟，另一方面亦取其音「聚」，邀請各方好友齊聚一堂👫🏻，一齊見證室樂團嘅成長同蛻變👣。

今次音樂會我哋好榮幸聯同香港恒生大學小交響樂團組成聯合樂團🎺，除咗促成寶貴嘅跨校藝術交流🎼，仲帶領觀眾橫跨中西、貫通古今，以音樂展現藝術無國界嘅魅力🎵🎨。

對於首次「衝出MU」，踏上呢個全新大舞台✨，每一位室樂團成員都緊張又興奮🤩。希望大家繼續支持佢哋💪，一齊將呢段珍貴嘅音樂歷程延續落去🌈，向住更大、更遠嘅舞台進發💨，用音樂嘅力量化作光，照亮每一位聽眾💖💡。

On the evening of 4 July🌃, the HKMU Chamber Orchestra stepped into Tsuen Wan Town Hall for its first-ever annual performance open to the public🎻. The performance, themed “Overture”《序》, marks the beginning of a new chapter🌟. The Chinese title also echoes the word “gathering”, cordially inviting friends from HKMU and beyond👫🏻 to come together and witness the Chamber Orchestra’s growth and transformation👣.

We were honoured to join forces with The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong Sinfonietta🎺, forming a combined orchestra that cultivated valuable cross-institutional artistic exchange🎼. Together, we led the audience on a musical journey across East and West and through past and present, showcasing the borderless charm of music as an art form🎵🎨.

For the orchestra, this was the first time “stepping out of MU” and onto a brand-new grand stage✨, a moment filled with both nerves and excitement🤩. We hope you will continue to support them💪, so that this precious musical journey can carry on🌈, reaching ever larger and more distant stages💨, and transforming the power of music into light for every listener💖💡.

【⚖️勇敢轉換跑道：尋找夢想職業🌟】

💭如果有一日，你發現自己行緊一條唔屬於自己嘅路，你會有勇氣轉身重新選擇嗎？

都大物理治療系二年級生嘅蔡志鵬 (𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏)，當初因家人期望於中大修讀法律並成為律師🧑🏻‍⚖️。儘管看似大好前途，佢內心卻始終感到迷失😶‍🌫️。直到某次加班深夜，合夥人一句「公司最緊要係 make profits，唔係幫人」，令佢徹底反思🧠。Brian 意識到自己渴望直接幫助他人，於是毅然放棄高薪厚職，報讀都大物理治療學課程🙌

嚟到都大，實務且充實嘅課堂令 Brian 尋回熱誠❤️‍🔥。佢更積極喺醫院、診所及 NGO 做義工，服務有特殊需要嘅人士💪，從中體會專業與關懷結合嘅意義✨

佢特別難忘有次完成服務後，一位小男孩拉著佢嘅手問：「哥哥，你幾時再嚟同我踢波呀？⚽」Brian 感動表示：「嗰個燦爛嘅笑容，唔只係感謝，更係對我轉換跑道嘅最好肯定，讓我確信自己行緊一條啱嘅路🌟，將知識運用於真正熱愛嘅工作，以服務他人為核心去實踐專業」💖

Brian 希望藉此鼓勵同學：「職業生涯並非只有單一軌道，而是一場成長與發現嘅旅程，更係實現自我價值嘅機會🚀」

【⚖️𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐚 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧🌟】

💭If one day you realised the path you were on did not truly belong to you, would you have the courage to turn around and choose again?

𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑻𝒔𝒂𝒉, now a Year 2 Physiotherapy student at HKMU, once studied Law at CUHK and became a lawyer to fulfil family expectations🧑🏻‍⚖️. Though it seemed promising, he felt deeply lost😶‍🌫️. The turning point came one late night when a partner remarked, "The firm’s top priority will always be profits, not helping people." 🧠Realising he longed to directly help others, Brian left his career to study Physiotherapy at HKMU🙌

At HKMU, Brian finally found his place. The practical coursework allowed him to rediscover his passion❤️‍🔥, and he now actively volunteers in hospitals and NGOs, serving individuals with special needs💪 to see how professional knowledge and care make a real difference✨

One vivid memory keeps him motivated. After a volunteer session, a young boy held his hand and asked, "When will you come back to play football with me? ⚽" Brian recalls emotionally, “That bright smile was not just a ‘thank you’, it was the best affirmation of my decision to change paths🌟. It reassured me that I am now on the right track, applying what I learn to work I truly care about, and building a career centred on serving others.”💖

His message to students exploring their direction is this: “Your career is not a single fixed track, but a journey of growth and discovery, and an opportunity to realise your own values.”🚀

學生事務處早前舉辦咗一場「導盲犬講座」🦮！今次活動帶大家一齊探索殘疾共融同無障礙環境嘅重要性🤝，除咗提高大家對特殊教育需要 (SEN) 嘅認識✨，更令同學可以更貼心、更進一步了解社會上不同群體嘅需要🏡💖

喺講座入面，同學透過專業介紹深入了解咗導盲犬嘅培訓階段同服務範疇📚🐾。除咗基礎知識，我哋仲學到同視障人士互動嘅實用小貼士💡，掌握點樣喺日常生活中提供正確嘅協助🙌。當日最動人嘅部分，莫過於導盲犬使用者嘅親身分享💬，等同學能以第一視角感受視障人士與導盲犬之間嘅深厚默契同日常生活點滴🐕‍🦺💞

呢次體驗唔單止加深咗大家對無障礙社區嘅理解，更重要係激發大家實踐共融嘅精神🌟，一齊建立更溫暖、互相支持嘅校園與社會🥰🌱

【🦮𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝑫𝒐𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓✨】

SAO recently hosted a "𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿" 🦮! This event took everyone on a journey to explore the importance of disability inclusion and accessibility🤝. Aside from raising awareness of Special Educational Needs (SEN)✨, it inspired students to be more mindful and gain a deeper understanding of the needs of different groups in our society🏡💖

During the seminar, students gained a deeper understanding of the training stages of guide dogs and their service scope through professional introductions📚🐾. Beyond the basic knowledge, we also learned practical tips for interacting with people with visual impairments💡, mastering how to offer the right assistance in our daily lives🙌. The most touching part of the day was undoubtedly the personal sharing by a guide dog user💬, which allowed students to experience firsthand the deep bond and daily life stories between a visually impaired individual and their guide dog🐕‍🦺💞

This experience not only deepened everyone's understanding of an accessible community but, more importantly, inspired us to practice the spirit of inclusion🌟, working together to build a warmer and more supportive campus and society🥰🌱

小林💬：「除咗錢之外💲，呢個獎學金仲畀咗好多機會我由內到外成長💪。之前參加過一個工作坊令我印象深刻🌟，除咗更認識自己嘅性格同強弱項🔎，亦學習到點樣理解別人，同時審視自己有咩可以再改善🤔

作為『領展同學會』一員，我有幸帶領一班得獎同學組隊，舉辦推廣可持續服飾『7 Rs』嘅活動👕。當中我要統籌幾個小組，負責餐飲、交通及流程設計🧩，都係我本科電腦科學較少接觸到嘅領域📚

我嘅建議：呢個唔單止係一個獎學金，而係一個community🏡

小組面試可能會令人有壓力，以為要好主動、好有創意，突出自己但又唔搶fo😫。我嘅秘訣係：保持開放態度😉，聆聽其他同學，並喺佢哋嘅基礎上作補充🗣️。唔好當面試係競賽、盲目講啲聽落好勁嘅idea，而係要聚焦於實際影響，諗吓現實中行得通嘅方法🧠

呢個獎學金搵嘅係有推動力嘅人，而唔係完美嘅人。做返真正嘅自己就得✨」

HKMU student 𝑺𝑯𝑨𝑯 𝑷𝒐𝒐𝒋𝒂 𝒁𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒕 (𝑷𝑱), an awardee of the Link University Scholarship👏, shares that it offers far more than financial assistance🥳

𝑷𝑱 says💬: 'Beyond the financial support💲, the scholarship gave me opportunities to grow both internally and externally💪. A memorable workshop helped me recognise my personality type🔎, accept my weaknesses, and realise my strengths. I learned to read others and review how I can improve🤔

As a Link Scholar, I had the privilege of leading a team to host an event raising awareness about the '7 Rs' for sustainable clothing👕. Overseeing sub-teams and focusing on catering, commute, and design processes🧩 allowed me to explore fields rarely encountered in my computer science degree📚

My advice is: don’t see this as just a scholarship, see it as a community🏡

The group interview can feel intimidating, as you might think you need to stand out without stealing the spotlight😫. What worked for me was being open😉. Listen to others, adapt, and build on their viewpoints instead of competing🗣️. Focus on realistic impact and what actually works in the real world, not just what sounds impressive🧠.

The scholarship looks for drive, not perfection. Just show up as yourself✨.'

早前由學生事務處舉辦嘅「香港都會大學領袖薈談2026」已經圓滿結束🎉🥳！今次活動好榮幸邀請到都大校長林群聲教授致具啟發性嘅歡迎辭🎤，正式為活動揭開序幕🎊

活動當日，超過100位大學管理層、學生會幹事會「擎曦」、大學委員會學生代表、學會領袖及學會顧問聚首一堂😍，透過兩場深度交流環節，就大學生活中多個重要議題進行深入對話💬。師生從唔同角度分享經驗同諗法，加深彼此了解之餘，亦為優化都大校園生活注入新思路💡

學生會、大學委員會學生代表及各學會領袖係連繫學生同大學嘅重要橋樑🌟，致力推動同學參與校園活動、豐富大學生活🏫，促進同學對都大嘅歸屬感💚💙。透過今次活動，師生之間嘅協作關係亦進一步加強🤝，為建立更有凝聚力同活力嘅校園生活打好基礎🙌

The 'HKMU Leadership Lounge 2026', organised earlier by SAO, has successfully come to a close🥳! We were honoured to have Prof. Paul LAM Kwan-sing, President of HKMU, deliver an inspiring welcome address🎤, officially kicking off the event🎊

On the event day, over 100 members of the University’s senior management, Students’ Union Executive Committee (Solara), student representatives in University Committees, student society leaders and society advisors gathered for two in-depth dialogue sessions😍, engaging in meaningful discussions on various important topics related to university life💬. Both staff and students shared their experiences and perspectives, which not only deepened mutual understanding but also brought new ideas for enhancing campus life at HKMU💡

The Students’ Union, student representatives and student societies serve as an important bridge between students and the University🌟, actively promoting student participation in campus activities, enriching university life🏫 and strengthening students’ sense of belonging to HKMU💚💙. Through this event, the collaborative relationship between staff and students was further strengthened🤝, laying a solid foundation for building a more cohesive and vibrant campus life🙌

【✨第二屆香港大學生升旗隊代表訪京團🇨🇳】

喺5月31日至6月4日，香港都會大學學生國旗護衛隊有幸同其餘10間大專院校嘅同學一齊出發✈️，去咗北京參加「第二屆香港大學生升旗隊代表訪京團」🇨🇳🎉 ！呢5日嘅親身體驗，真係令人極之難忘同感動🥳😍

最震撼嘅一刻，絕對係6月1號清晨上到天安門觀禮台🌟，親眼睇住莊嚴嘅升國旗儀式喺眼前進行👀！同學之後仲有機會去拜訪天安門國旗護衛隊🤝，同埋去北京航空航天大學🏫，同當地嘅國旗護衛隊交流切磋💬，親身感受到佢哋極致嚴格嘅訓練同崇高嘅使命感✨

From 31 May to 4 June, the 𝗛𝗞𝗠𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴-𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 had the great honour of joining students from 10 other local tertiary institutions for “𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴-𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗷𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿"🇨🇳🎉! These 5 days of first-hand experiences were truly unforgettable and deeply moving🥳😍

The most breath-taking moment was definitely standing on the Tiananmen Square viewing stand in the early morning of 1 June🌟, witnessing the solemn national flag-raising ceremony right before our eyes👀! Our HKMU students also had the incredible opportunity to visit the Tiananmen Flag-guard Team🤝 and exchange skills with the flag-guard team at Beihang University🏫💬, experiencing their ultra-strict training and high sense of mission first-hand✨

Today, as we celebrate 🎊the 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗞𝗦𝗔𝗥🇨🇳🇭🇰, the HKMU Student Flag-guard Team is proud to present this self-made Recap Video🎬🥰!
